Landscapes

If you want to capture a landscape in a sketch or a painting, you have countless options: black and white, in lines, hatchings, surfaces, color, monochrome, and materials: charcoal, chalk, ink, paint … The location, the time of day, the weather … these determine in an infinite cohesion what image and what atmosphere you can evoke with the landscape.

The landscapes you see here are (almost) all painted ‘en plein air’, on linen, in oils.
